Have just returned from three night break to The Strathdon Hotel in Blackpool where myself husband and three children were made feel very welcome by the owners Veronica and Ian throughout our stay. The accomodation is first class the rooms are spotless and very comfortable the food is excellent and the choice of menu is superb.There is also a very comfortable and well stocked bar area for relaxation after a busy fun filled day.Would definately recommend staying here and will return soon.A lovely hotel run by lovely people who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is special .Thanks again

Just got back from 3 nights at the Strathdon – and what can we say – I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK – Ian & Veronica make you feel like you are the only people in the hotel, even if you aren’t and nothing is too much trouble. Very clean rooms, truly excellent food and brilliant hospitality. Never thought I’d enjoy Blackpool as too close to home, however will def. be back thanks to this wonderful couple and their superb hotel. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
just come back from the strathdon hotel this morning….nothing more to say than SUPBERB!!!!!everything about the place was excellent….ian and veronica cant do enough for you….greeted with a smile…lovely people….nice to know there are still people like them about….food ..service …all were great…thank you for a lovely time ..at your hotel…will certainly go again….xxx
Just returned from staying two nights at the Strathdon, with my two daughters and grandchild. Well what can we say? it was outstanding. The rooms were very clean and warm, as was the rest of the hotel. Ian and Veronica were exceptional host. Nothing was any trouble for them. Breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Nothing but praise for this hotel and couple.
Me and a good friend stayed for 4 days 3 nights back in August, we cannot both thank you enough for the warm welcoming and great hospitality.
it was nice to be able to sit down with the both of you and find out what inspired you to run strathdon, both me and my friend are hoping to be over again exept this time be able to go for the helicopter ride,and have more games on the Wii, much love to Ian and veronica, from jackie and joe! x
A lovely, clean, cosy hotel with super hosts and fabulous homecooked food. Will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends. A super place to stay and did not want to leave. Thank you.

what a great time we all had at the strathdon.maneull,i mean steve,sorry i mean ian was great in the bar,he just knew how to keep you in the bar till the early hours.ian & veronica are a lovely couple who both know how to make your stay as friendly and comfatble as it could be.both mae and lea kept calling it home that,s how comfatble they both felt,would certainly recomend this hotel to everyone.
This is our 3rd time staying at the Strathdon and we just love it. The food, the atmosphere in the Bar, it,s all there to be enjoyed by all ages. We would recommend this wee Hotel to everyone.
Ian & Veronica are great people and if you buy Ian Wine Gums he will keep the Bar open for you all night….

A massive thank you to Veronica and Ian for making our stay in Blackpool a great one, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was beautiful every day and the choice was great. We ate a few times from the bar menu and the food was delicious. I will definately be returning to the Strathdon next year. There is really nothing negative to say about the place or the lovely people that run it . Thanks again Veronica and Ian, you’re the best!!!

we had the most fantastic weekend break we have had in a very long time, you both made us feel so welcome our room and your hotel was extremely clean and tidy. The food you prepared for us all was fantastic best poached eggs i have had in a while. I will be recommending other people to stay at the Strathdon hotel. we all will definitely be returning.
