Take That star Gary Barlow has stepped in and will perform the headline gig at this year’s Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On event.
Marketing Blackpool was forced to seek another act after Irish rockers The Script announced they would be unable to perform due to a family illness.
And just a few hours later Gary announced to his three million followers on Twitter that he would be happy to help out for Children in Need.
